REFUND & CANCELLATION POLICY

This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to all products, services, training programmes, certifications, memberships, events, retreats, coaching services, digital products and purchases made from Rebecca Lockwood Consultancy Ltd / The Yes I Can Method.

2. Your Consumer Rights
Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law.
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations, consumers generally have a 14-day cooling-off period for online purchases.
However, different rules apply once digital content has been accessed, services have commenced, or events have taken place.
3. Digital Products
Digital products include but are not limited to:
- Online courses
- Digital downloads
- Workbooks
- Manuals
- Templates
- Audio recordings
- Video trainings
- Hypnotherapy recordings
- Digital resources
Once access has been granted, downloaded, streamed or viewed, no refund will be available.
By accessing digital content immediately after purchase, you acknowledge and agree that your right to cancel may be lost once delivery of the digital content has begun.
4. Online Courses & Certification Programmes
This includes programmes such as:
- NLP Practitioner
- NLP Master Practitioner
- Time Line Therapy® Practitioner
- Hypnotherapy Practitioner
- EFT Practitioner
- Breakthrough Coaching Certification
- Yes I Can Method Practitioner
- Yes I Can Method Master Practitioner
- Any other certification or training programme offered by us
Before Training Begins
You may request a refund within 14 days of purchase provided:
- Training has not started
- No course materials have been accessed
- No recordings have been viewed
- No programme resources have been downloaded
After Training Begins
Once training has started, no refunds will be issued.
Training is deemed to have started when any of the following occur:
- Attendance at a live session
- Access to course materials
- Viewing of recordings
- Access to programme resources
- Participation in coaching or training activities
5. Payment Plans
Where a payment plan is selected:
- You are committing to the full programme fee.
- Payment plans are not subscriptions and do not represent a pay-as-you-go arrangement.
- The full remaining balance remains due even if you stop attending or participating.
Failure to attend does not cancel your payment obligations.
Failed Payments
Where payments fail:
- Access may be suspended.
- Certification may be withheld.
- Membership access may be removed.
- Outstanding balances remain payable.
We reserve the right to pursue recovery of unpaid fees where necessary.
Payment Holidays
Payment holidays may be considered at our discretion.
Any payment holiday agreed does not reduce the total amount payable.
6. Memberships
Membership fees are non-refundable.
A 14-day cancellation notice period is required to cancel future membership payments.
No refunds will be provided for:
- Partially used membership periods
- Unused sessions
- Missed content
- Failure to engage with the membership
Access will continue until the end of the paid membership period unless otherwise stated.
7. Coaching Services
This applies to:
- One-to-one coaching
- Group coaching
- Mentoring programmes
- Strategy sessions
Cancellation by the Client
Sessions cancelled with at least 48 hours’ notice may be rescheduled.
Sessions cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice may be forfeited.
Failure to attend a scheduled session without notice will be treated as a missed session.
Programme Withdrawals
Where coaching forms part of a programme or package, refunds are not available once the programme has commenced.
8. Events, Workshops and Retreats
Cancellation by the Participant
All retreat and event bookings are strictly non-refundable.
However, you may transfer your place to another person at any time prior to the event, provided you notify us in writing with the replacement attendee’s details.
It is your responsibility to ensure the person taking your place meets any relevant requirements for attendance.
Failure to Attend
No refunds will be provided for:
- Non-attendance
- Late arrival
- Early departure
- Travel disruption
- Personal circumstances
We strongly recommend obtaining suitable travel insurance where appropriate.
9. Live Certification Training Transfers (Illness or Exceptional Circumstances)
Where a participant is unable to attend a live certification training due to illness or genuine exceptional circumstances:
- A transfer to a future training date may be offered
- A minimum of 30 days’ notice must be provided where reasonably possible
- Transfers are subject to availability
- Transfers are limited to one rescheduled programme per booking unless otherwise agreed
No refunds will be issued in these circumstances.
10. Physical Products
Physical products include books, manuals, merchandise and other physical goods.
If a product arrives damaged or faulty, please contact us within 14 days of receipt.
Refunds or replacements may be provided where required under consumer law.
Returned items must:
- Be unused
- Be in original condition
- Be returned within the agreed timeframe
Customers are responsible for return postage unless the item is faulty.
11. Exceptional Circumstances
We recognise that unexpected situations may arise.
Requests relating to serious illness, bereavement or other exceptional circumstances may be considered on a discretionary basis.
Any goodwill arrangements offered do not create an obligation for future cases.
12. Cancellation by Rebecca Lockwood Consultancy Ltd
We reserve the right to:
- Reschedule programmes
- Change venues
- Change delivery methods
- Replace trainers or facilitators
- Cancel programmes where necessary
Where we cancel a programme and cannot provide a suitable alternative, an appropriate refund or credit may be offered.
Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the affected service.
We are not responsible for:
- Travel costs
- Accommodation costs
- Loss of earnings
- Other indirect or consequential costs
13. Student Removal
We reserve the right to remove participants from programmes, memberships, events or communities where they:
- Harass others
- Bully others
- Breach confidentiality
- Misuse materials
- Fail to make required payments
- Disrupt the learning environment
- Bring the business into disrepute
Removal under these circumstances will not normally result in a refund.
14. How to Request a Refund or Cancellation
All requests must be made in writing to:

Please include:
- Full name
- Programme or product purchased
- Date of purchase
- Reason for request
We will respond within a reasonable timeframe.
15. Changes to This Policy
We reserve the right to update this Refund & Cancellation Policy at any time.
The latest version will always be available on our websites.
16. Governing Law
This policy is governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
