These Terms of Business govern all purchases, bookings, training programmes, certifications, coaching services, memberships, events, retreats, digital products, physical products and related services provided by Rebecca Lockwood Consultancy Ltd trading as The Yes I Can Method.
By purchasing, booking or participating in any of our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. OUR SERVICES
We provide education, training, coaching, mentoring, certification programmes, memberships, events, retreats, digital resources, books, manuals, workbooks and related services.
Our services may be delivered:
- Online
- In person
- Through live training
- Through recorded content
- Through group coaching
- Through one-to-one coaching
- Through memberships and communities
2. ELIGIBILITY
Participants must be at least 18 years old unless otherwise agreed in writing.
You are responsible for ensuring that any information provided during registration is accurate and up to date.
3. PAYMENT
Full payment or the first agreed instalment must be received before access is granted.
Where payment plans are offered:
- The full programme fee remains payable regardless of attendance or completion.
- Failure to attend does not cancel payment obligations.
- Access may be suspended where payments are overdue.
- Certification may be withheld until all payments have been received.
- Payment holidays may be granted at our discretion and do not waive outstanding balances.
Any failed or missed payments must be rectified promptly.
We reserve the right to use debt recovery procedures where necessary.
4. REFUNDS
Under UK Consumer Contracts Regulations, consumers generally have a 14-day cooling-off period.
Where digital content or training access is provided immediately, you acknowledge that by accessing the materials you waive your right to cancel once the training has commenced.
Refunds will not be provided where:
- Training has commenced
- Digital content has been accessed
- Resources have been downloaded
- Coaching services have been delivered
Exceptional circumstances may be considered at our sole discretion.
Transfers, credits and substitutions are not guaranteed and will only be considered in exceptional circumstances.
5. CERTIFICATION PROGRAMMES
Certification programmes may include:
- NLP Practitioner
- NLP Master Practitioner
- Time Line Therapy® Practitioner
- Hypnotherapy Practitioner
- EFT Practitioner
- Breakthrough Coaching Certification
- Yes I Can Method Practitioner
- Yes I Can Method Master Practitioner
- Other certification programmes offered from time to time
Certification requirements may include:
- Attendance at all required training
- Completion of assessments
- Demonstration of required competencies
Where a participant does not meet the required standard, additional assessment opportunities may be offered.
Certification remains subject to successful completion of programme requirements.
6. ATTENDANCE
Attendance is mandatory for certification programmes unless alternative arrangements have been agreed.
Missed training may require attendance at future training dates before certification can be issued.
7. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All materials provided by Rebecca Lockwood Consultancy Ltd remain our intellectual property.
This includes but is not limited to:
- Training materials
- Manuals
- Workbooks
- Videos
- Audio recordings
- Hypnotherapy scripts
- Worksheets
- Frameworks
- Presentations
- Course content
Participants are granted a personal, non-transferable licence to use materials for their own learning and client work where expressly permitted.
Participants may not:
- Copy materials for resale
- Share materials with third parties
- Teach our proprietary methods
- Reproduce training content
- Create derivative training programmes based upon our intellectual property
- Remove copyright notices
Authorised practitioners may use approved materials with their clients only.
8. RECORDINGS
Training sessions may be recorded.
Where recordings are provided, access is granted as a benefit of enrolment.
We aim to provide lifetime access to recordings where stated. However, we reserve the right to modify platforms, systems, delivery methods or content availability.
Participants may not record sessions without prior written consent.
9. MEMBERSHIPS
Membership benefits are subject to change.
We reserve the right to:
- Update content
- Modify delivery schedules
- Change membership features
- Replace trainers or facilitators where necessary
Members remain responsible for ensuring payments remain current.
10. STUDENT CONDUCT
We are committed to maintaining a safe and respectful learning environment.
We reserve the right to suspend or remove any participant who:
- Harasses others
- Bullies others
- Acts in a disruptive manner
- Breaches confidentiality
- Misuses training materials
- Fails to meet payment obligations
- Brings the business into disrepute
- Acts unlawfully
- Engages in behaviour that negatively impacts the learning environment
Removal from a programme does not automatically entitle the participant to a refund.
11. PROFESSIONAL RESPONSIBILITY
Our training is educational in nature.
Participants remain solely responsible for:
- Their professional practice
- Their clients
- Their business activities
- Their legal obligations
- Their professional insurance requirements
Completion of training does not guarantee business success, client acquisition, income generation or specific outcomes.
12. DISCLAIMER
The information provided through our training, coaching and programmes is intended for educational purposes only.
Nothing provided constitutes:
- Medical advice
- Mental health treatment
- Psychiatric advice
- Psychological diagnosis
- Legal advice
- Financial advice
Our services are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any medical or psychological condition.
Participants should seek appropriate professional support where required.
13. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rebecca Lockwood Consultancy Ltd shall not be liable for:
- Indirect losses
- Consequential losses
- Loss of profits
- Loss of business opportunities
- Loss of reputation
- Personal business decisions made following participation in our programmes
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where such exclusion would be unlawful.
14. DATA PROTECTION
We process personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable UK data protection legislation.
By engaging with our services, you consent to the processing of your information as outlined in our Privacy Policy.
15. FORCE MAJEURE
We shall not be liable for delays or failures resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control including but not limited to illness, venue issues, technology failures, acts of nature, government restrictions or other unforeseen events.
16. CHANGES TO SERVICES
We reserve the right to:
- Amend course content
- Change schedules
- Substitute trainers
- Modify programme delivery methods
Such changes will not materially reduce the overall value of the programme.
17. COMPLAINTS
Complaints should be submitted in writing to hello@yesicanmethod.com.
We will investigate complaints fairly and aim to respond within a reasonable timeframe.
18. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
