Listen to the Podcast version:

Keeping yourself inspired mirrors to keeping yourself motivated, keeping yourself wanting to move forward, keeping yourself in the path of less resistance. True that, keeping yourself inspired is important especially if you’re working towards something to support you to carry that through.

For all entrepreneurial women who are working towards things, sometimes it gets to a stage where you are like that “Ugh”. It doesn’t necessarily mean people who got business. It could also mean entrepreneurial women who are go-getters, who are driven and who want to achieve great things and support and help others as well. Sometimes things are feeling hard, they’re feeling heavy, and despite working too hard, things don’t seem like they’re coming together for you.

So, how do you keep yourself inspired while working towards your goals?

1. Make sure that you have a clear goals and a clear objective.

– What is the feeling that you’re feeling inspired about?

– What are you moving towards?

– What is it specifically that you want to be inspired about?

It’s important to have clear goals and outcomes of the things that you want moving towards, because when you know what you want to moving towards, you can really support yourself to visualize success that you will achieve when you get there. When you’ve got really clear goals and really clear outcomes, you can visualize yourself achieving them things every single day and you can see yourself achieving it. You can allow yourself to feel the feelings you’ll feel when you accomplish that thing whatever that is. You can really make it really compelling.

For instance, if you really have clear goals of achieving something, ask yourself, “What would be the last thing that would happen in order for me to know that I’ve achieved this goal?” Then you take that last thing that would happen and you imagine yourself there and then. See yourself through your own eyes, see it happening, make the color really compelling, make it big and bright, make it colorful. See yourself acting out as if you’ve already achieved that thing, and do that every single day.

That will keep you inspired, keep moving towards it, and it will be pulled towards achieving it rather than push yourself towards making things happen.

Side note: If you’ve read my book, or any of you are familiar with self-development, you know you don’t have to sit there regimented every single day and visualize them. You can do that as you’re doing other things. If you’re driving in your car to go somewhere, you can do it at that point. During bed time, you can do it at that point. There’s no set time that you have to do this in. You can just incorporate it in your daily routine at any point. So if at any point you’re feeling like “Ugh.”, you can visualize yourself achieving the success in your life as if you’ve achieved it.

2. Do more things that you love. If you have a business or you have a career and you work really hard, it’s really easy to get caught up in this perception that you really have to work all the time to be successful, the feeling that you need glue yourself to your desk to make sure you get your stuff done in front of your computer. I, personally, have fallen into that in the past as well. What happens then is people burnout and they get sick and tired of work and they don’t feel inspired.

You need to have really clear boundaries, and within that, you need to do more things that you love. Read more, what hobbies that you love? Dance, go to the gym, whatever it might be. It doesn’t matter. You need to schedule in doing things that you love. Any hobbies that you love, make sure to get em in there. When we have the perception of needing to work all the time to be your success, you’ll end up burning yourself out if you’re at it 24/7.

Another thing is watching your favorite Netflix series. I used to be one of this people who used to say not to wrapped up in a Netflix series, because to be a success, you need to keep working. If you’re working 24/7 in order to achieve success, you’re gonna get sick towards working towards whatever it is that you’re working towards. So you need to schedule things into your time table, making sure you’re doing the things that you love.

Give yourself a break, switching off because it’ll really support you to become more creative because you’re not thinking about work all the time, you’re able to just take a step back, do things that you love, and what you’ll find is from doing that you’ll become even more creative and things will flow even more naturally. You’ll find yourself getting into the flow state much easier. So things will just happen, you’ll feel more inspired, and things will just flow to you more naturally. You’ll notice a difference.

3. Subscribe to blogs or podcast, or books, or anything that really link in to what your goals are and what you’re working towards. Schedule listening to them or reading to them, and that will really support you and inspire you to open up your view of the world, open up your model of the world to see what other opportunities maybe available for you in order to support you in your goals and the outcomes that you’re working towards.

4. Make sure that you check in with you. Make sure that you check in with you, and make sure that you’re listening yourself from within and not necessarily taking too much from other people. It is important to be inspired by other people and acknowledge that people are doing amazing things so we can work and learn from their success. But we also need to ensure that we check in within ourselves.

Ensure that you check in with you, stay focus from inside and listen to yourself, and by doing that you’ll strengthen your connection within your inner guidance. So whether you believe you have your inner guidance, whether you believe in God, whether you believe in the universe or spirituality, it doesn’t matter. It’s always the same thing.

Always check in with you and work on that inner connection, work on that inner guidance and, strengthen the connection with your intuition—whether that’s connection to the universe, connection to God, connection to spirit, connection to a high power because that’s what will really support you and prepare you to move forward and achieve the outcomes and goals that you want, making sure you’re doing that from within, and you’re focusing what you want and not necessarily focusing on everyone else’s and see what everyone is doing and thinking you should do that thing. Check in within yourself and move to the path of less resistance which will support you.
