So many of my students who learn to become coaches and my friends who are coaches ask me these questions all of the time. The truth is, the biggest thing that is standing in the way of you and getting your coaching clients is yourself. 

The stories you are telling yourself about why you haven’t yet got coaching clients. The reasons you are giving yourself as to why you are not getting results and you can end up leading yourself down this garden path, telling yourself that it’s because of x or it’s because of y when actually the truth is that it is because of you. 

You must ask yourself the following questions:

  1. Why am I not getting coaching clients?
  2. Why am I getting coaching clients?
  3. What do I believe about sales?
  4. What do I believe about money?
  5. What do I believe about making more money than I ever have before?

What often happens is you will be subconsciously telling yourself a story about these things, and they are not always empowering stories. They are just distortions and are never the truth, they are just your current version of the truth because this is what you are filtering into your reality based on what you believe. 

You must also check in with what you think about yourself. What you think about yourself is what you are projecting out into the world and that is giving you your results in life. 

If you have a certain perception of yourself then you will project this perception out into the world which will also be linked to the stories you are telling yourself. 

Be mindful of how hard or easy you are making it for yourself to get clients. Getting clients and growing a business doesn’t have to be hard, it can be easy if you allow it to be easy.
